Hi ladies, we are so jazzed, only 3 more days!  Amber and I went back and forth on this subject.  We were married on an Olivia cruise in 2004...thats our wedding pix from Olivia!  We had fabulous outfits, I got the most fab dress in Pisa, Italy and Am got hers on our travels as well.  Anyway, it has seemed a little wierd to wear them again as much as we'd like to....so after much discussion we opted to wear jeans and a nice shirt.

When we got married the first go around everyone dressed however they were comfortable.  Some, like us, were dressed up, while others were in matching hawaiian or western attire, many ladies were in flops and jeans.  So anything goes!  But I do understand the dilemna....until we had finally made our decision it consumed me (ok I am a freak).

FYI, we really discussed at length wearing jeans and a tshirt that made a statement...we both were almost walking peace signs!  Cheers! Can't wait!  Kat

...the misses and i shared a beautiful sunrise commitment ceremony, the summer of 2004, where we were both dressed in gorgeous white linen, orchid leis and barefoot on the sands of lanakai beach in hawaii....

we both agree that there could be no way to top that special day so this friday we will wed in what we're most comfortable in...........jeans.......as dressy as we can be! Wink  but to each their own...........it will be a special day no matter the attire!!

congrats to all!!

How about a no on prop 8 t-shirt!!!

We are Laura and Karla from Irvine, CA and were married 08/08/08. I hope you do not mind if I am off topic - I am trying to get the word out about these free No on Prop 8 t-shirt irons that were made by a designer friend of ours who wants to share it with as many people as possible. If you do not know, Prop 8 is the ballot initiative in CA that will overturn the Supreme Courts ruling that made same sex marriage legal...  So it is a BIG deal!   So I have been posting the link to the website so people can download the iron on transfers... then you have to buy the transfer paper (we got it at target) and a plain white tee...  It would be great to see folks wearing the t-shirts on board... but also after the cruise of course. If there is someway we can get the word out ...  that would be great. Anyone is welcome to email me at laurakanter@mac.com

The instructions can be found as well as the iron-ons at:

Thanks!

My soon to be wife is wearing a tux as well.  I am also wearing a cream gown.  I think people are wearing whatever makes them happy.  See you soon!

Hello,

Linda here and I just found this grounp discussion and me and partner, Barbara, were wondering the same thing.  What to wear!!We were thinking about some nice linen outfits-light colors.  And thanks for the information on the florist.

I have been checking different florists (gay, lesbian, etc.) and found one called Precious Petals that responded to my email.  They said they would be happy to deliver to the hotel.  They just asked that we call them at 1-888-584-8757 to place an order.  I'm trying to decide exactly what I want, nothing big or fussy, maybe just a couple of roses and a rose boutienierre for K.C.???    Any other ideas out there?  Anyone else carrying flowers or corsages?

I was thinking corsages and perhaps a bouquet.  It's our last debate on details.  We bought jewelry last weekend.  Let me know what you find out.

Hey,

I never thought about flowers.  Are you thinking of a bouquet?  I'm sure I can find some florists in the area.  Will check it out and let you know.  Thanks for the heads-up...

Wow sounds like everyone is wearing what fits there style.  I am wearing very classic black dress with white bolero sweater.  My love is wearing black pants, white tux shirt and great plaid vest.  Lots of looking to get it right but we love the look...I have only to order flowers...Has anyone else found a florist in San Diego?
