We were also in Cancun.  Michelle & I have done 6 resorts with Olivia, getting ready to do #7.  Let me assure you that  you will not have any problems....  Olivia does go to these resorts prior to our arrival and basically checks out how their staff will welcome us...  We have never had any problems!  I agree that they are always very helpful and go out of their way to make all of us feel comfortable...  Actually, they really hate when we leave - they say that Olivia women are so much fun.  I agree!

We just came back from Cancun. Ther were male GO's there but the were all very helpful and went out of their way to see we were being taken care of. We had no problems what so ever with them.

We went with Olivia to Club Med Yucatan in May this year and are going to Columbus Isle too. There were actually NO male GOs at the Yucatan resort for the week we were there. it was like they gave them the week off. They were there when we were checking out because the resort was going back to the "normal" clientel. There were male bartenders and servers but not GOs. Everyone (male & female) was great! Very

Absolutely not. If you EVER have a problem at an Olivia function- all you need to do is talk to one of the reps there (they are everywhere) and it will be nipped in the bud immediatly! They have always been good about that.

I have been reading about this resort and it seems beautiful however I read some things on travel forums and a friend of mine told me about her sister who traveled to this resort in june. I have heard that the male GO's at this resort are very aggressive and they hit on the women constantly. I have never been to an olivia resort - how is the olivia resort enviroment - will olivia travelers be subjected to this kind of behavior ?
