With over 1800 women on board there is bound to be a party!  and good reason for one, however there is also going to be plenty of quiet areas including the cabins and different lounges all over the ship--it's huge.

The cruise was booked originally as a Sports & Music cruise, so now that many are using it as a honeymoon there will be a big mix, but I am sure there will be respect and different venues for all to have a wonderful time both on and off the ship.

Less than 2 weeks ladies!!!!!!!!!!!   There are times to celebrate and I am thinking this is one of those times......... (Most of us are older, how much partying can we really do....hahahaha, yet we shall try)

Cheers & Congratulations to all of you honeymooners!!!

We've been on Carnival several times (hate, hate, hate it, but family has chosen it, or it has been too cheap to pass on) and there is none more par-tay. Still, we've always found a quiet place on board, as you will. Stay away from the middle of the ship, and you'll be fine - that's my only hint, lol.

The best part about going with Olivia is that you can be as involved or as reserved as you want to. There are a lot of parties going on, but they don't seem to spill over to your room. When we did this last year it was very quite and we had tons of alone time. Most of the "noisey" parties are done around the pool areas. If you want quite time I would suggest you head to the opposite end of the boat. We're not big party people so for us it was great to hang out at the rail and watch the sea go by. With the recent marriage law in CA there will be a bunch of folks enjoying this as a honeymoon. That might make it a little tough to find those hindaway spots. Congrates on your up coming wedding. See you in Oct.

Partying on the ship?

We're wondering if there is a lot of partying on the olivia ships.  We'll be on our honeymoon and looking for a quiet relaxed atmosphere.  We definitely want to go out a few nights but we also want the option of quiet time. We've been on a previous cruise that turned out to be the"partyship" and we're hoping to avoid that.  Any advice or comments?
